Mt. Olive Wildcat's Homecoming Parade

This past weekend we went to Illinois to see Tim's youngest brother, Jimmy, play in his senior Homecoming game. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone. Thanks as always to Grandma and Grandpa who let us crash at their place and provide so much yummy food!!!

After we got to Mt. Olive Friday afternoon, our first stop was to see the Homecoming Parade. Uncle Jimmy was on the Homecoming Court so he got to ride in the parade. We got a couple of cute picture of Kennedy with him before the parade but couldn't get Reagan to agree to get in the car. I know that about the time Reagan is cooperating for pictures again Kennedy will be going through this phase so I've just about (not quite) resigned myself to the difficulty picture taking will be for the forseeable future. That said, my new camera does make it much easier to snap those candid moments you want to remember!

Big smiles from Uncle Jimmy and Kennedy thanks to a lot of hard work from Aunt Julie :)
Uncle Jimmy, Kennedy and Lisa

Grandma had cute shirts made especially for the girls and the Homecoming game. As you can see the back said Uncle Jimmy with his football #70
and Wildcats was written down the arm
Having fun with Aunt Julie
Getting lots of love from Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck (love those smashed cheeks!!!)
Collecting candy with the help of Aunt Julie, Jenna and Grandpa. By the end of the parade Reagan just sat down and started eating her candy and let everyone else do the work of picking it up and bring it to her. Little bum or smart girl??? I can't decide. lol :)

Grandpa is so not funny...
Oh alright, maybe he is a little funny... lol :)
Jenna helping Reagan with a sucker from the parade
Jenna and Reagan waiting for the parade to return
Reagan and Kennedy enjoying some of their candy together
Enjoying some yummy candy!
Nothing better than Grandma, candy, a parade and beautiful weather!
