Reagan's Sippy Cup

Last week Reagan became extremely interested in what Anna was doing every time she took a drink of water. We decided to see if she was interested in drinking from a cup and she caught right on. As a matter of fact we have some very funny video of her directing the cup to her mouth and holding on every time Anna takes a drink. Anyhoo... over the weekend we got a sippy cup for Reagan to try out and as you can see she thinks she's pretty hot stuff!
I can get a drink all by myself All done, I'm outta here Mom!
Maybe one last drink...

Strolling in the Park

We are so fortunate to have a beautiful park so close to where we live in Cameron Station (that's our community in the background). Last Friday was the first time we used Reagan's big stroller without the carseat. As you can see Reagan loves spending time outside and wearing sunglasses from Aunt Arla. :) As you can also see we don't go anywhere without our pink blanket anymore. Not even when it's close to 100 degrees outside. What a silly baby! :)

Cat Bib from Grandma Sherry

Reagan's Baby Einstein cat bib from Grandma Sherry makes getting ready to eat so much fun! (the bib has chewy feet hanging off the bottom)
I'm ready Mom! :)
Yum! This sure is good stuff!

Watch Me Grow - 4 Months

Our wild and crazy baby has made it to 4 months! Today she was down for a nap in the swing when she started to fuss. I went to check on her and she was hanging sideways and upside down out of the swing and definately not asleep! How she got herself into that position I will never know. The only reason I can think she wasn't more upset is because she has recently decided being an "upside down" baby is a fun game. lol :)
~
This month Reagan decided she needs a story as well as her pink blanket before she'll settle down to sleep. Since Tim and I are avid readers we were excited to realize she has decided that should be part of her wind down routine at such an early age!
~
Thank you Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck for my cute outfit and thank you Aunt Kim and Uncle Nathan for the duck and bear! We've decided to start taking Reagan's monthly pictures with the new pink bear from Uncle Nathan and Aunt Kim too because Reagan's not going to be bigger than that duck for a long time! lol :)

Isn't it funny how Reagan looks bigger in her 3 month picture? I think that's because she's sitting up more now vs stretching out.

Uncle Nathan and Aunt Kim

We went out to dinner at P.F. Chang's with our good friends Kim and Nathan Saturday night. They brought Reagan all kinds of cute clothing and toys. Her favorite by far was the pink teddy bear in this picture. It is the first stuffed animal Reagan has really noticed and paid attention too. In just the last week she has suddenly become much more aware of her surroundings.
~
Thanks for all the gifts Uncle Nathan and Aunt Kim - Reagan has already woren the purple PJ's and thought they were extremely comfy! :)
I take that back, the pink teddy bear was the favorite gift until Reagan discovered the bag it came in... lol :)

Miss. Independent

In the last couple of weeks Reagan has started to try and hold her bottle herself. She has been getting progressively better at it and was doing really well Saturday night while Aunt Kim was feeding her. Go Reagan Go!!!

Baby Audrey

On Friday we went to visit Reagan's new little friend, Audrey. She is such a sweet and precious baby!
Olivia, Audrey's big sister, is a pretty sweet (and silly) baby too!
Three cute girls :)
Olivia is practicing being a great big sister by rocking Reagan.

Reagan's First Cereal

Reagan had her first cereal on Sunday, August 12, and loved it! We decided to start giving her cereal because she has recently been waking up more at night (she started sleeping all night before she was 2 months old). While she's throughly enjoying the food so far she's still waking up. So much for that plan... At least she's a happy, sweet, and cute baby! We really can't complain at all!!! :)
~
This is good stuff Mom! Why have you all been holding out on me?

Mendelssohn thought Reagan's food looked/smelled good too. He was extremely curious about what was going on and even posed for this picture.
That must have been good stuff because it sure made a baby happy!

Loving Reagan's Baby Gifts

Here are some pictures we took of Reagan just being sweet. :) It wasn't until after we took them that we realized how well the adorable outfit we received from the Sliger's and the precious quilt Jodi made for Reagan went together. As you can see Reagan is obviously enjoying them both very much! Tummy time again???
That's kind of a silly face Miss. Reagan...

My Barn Dress

Aunt Arla sent Reagan a bunch of adorable clothing last week. She says this can be Reagan's barn dress. We think Aunt Arla is very silly!!! We'll definately bring the barn dress with us when we visit Wisconsin in October so we can see how it works for milking cows. What do you think? Does the cow make the outfit?

My Hippo Hat

Mommy loves this little hippo hat and outfit. Unfortunately it kind of makes me look like a little boy. Thankfully I have cute shoes from cousins Lily and Daniel that are very girly to wear when I wear this outfit! Being a very serious baby...

Aunt Julie

A special thank you to Aunt Julie and Uncle Chuck for taking the time and effort to come and visit Miss. Reagan for a whole week. We throughly enjoyed our time with you and hope you come back very soon!!!

Hanging out at the ESPN Zone (we should have taken this picture with Uncle Chuck though since he is the ESPN fan!)
Being silly with new sunglasses from Aunt Arla

What can I say, am I cute or am I cute?

Reagan is enjoying looking at pictures of herself on Aunt Julie's camera.

Silly and Sweet

If you can believe it, there is actually something Uncle Chuck wouldn't do for Reagan!?!?! Can anyone guess what Uncle Chuck is hiding from? Yep, it's a stinky diaper! Fortunately for Aunt Julie Uncle Chuck says he'll change their kids diapers. Unfortunately for us he wouldn't change Reagan's. I guess that's going above and beyond an uncle's call of duty...
But after Reagan is changed, clean, and sweet smelling again Uncle Chuck is more than willing to snuggle up for a nap with a cute baby...

Philidelphia and New York City Trip

Tim's little sister, Julie, and her boyfriend, Chuck, came to visit us this week. We spent the weekend with them in Philidelphia and New York City. Here are some miscellaneous pictures from our trip.
~
Getting ready to head out
Daddy and his little girl
Reagan was asleep in her Snugli when we started eating so we put a napkin over her so Mommy wouldn't spill anything on her little head.
Daddy and Aunt Julie trying to keep a sweet baby cool

Silly Pictures

I don't think we're going to let Aunt Julie take any more pictures of Reagan after seeing these... lol :)

Road Trip

Reagan will sometimes settle down and fall asleep if she sees other people sleeping. On the way to Philly we wanted her to take a nap so here are Uncle Chuck and Aunt Julie pretending to be asleep. Here's what Reagan thinks of them and taking a nap...

Philidelphia

I'm a little embarrassed to say our first stop in Philly was at the Art Museum to see the famous Rocky steps and statue. Here are our own champions, Chuck and Tim. With a little help from Aunt Julie Reagan can be a champion too...
For lunch we had Cheesesteak sandwiches at the famous Pat's King of Cheesesteaks restaraunt. Amber (Anna's cousin) made the suggestion and Julie had also seen it highlighted on a Food Newtwork show. They were yummy! :) In case you were wondering we did make it to see Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. :)
