Alaska

At the beginning of July we took a trip to Alaska with Grandpa Ted and Grandma Sherry to visit Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen. We had an absolutely fantastic time! We were able to visit Anna's cousin Jeremy in Anchorage and her cousin George and his wife, Leslie, outside of Fairbanks. We had the opportunity to enjoy a Glacier Cruise, Denali National Park and Preserve (although we didn't see the mountain), and relaxing in Chena Hot Springs. We had a wonderful time with everyone and seeing everything! We only wish the time hadn't gone by so quickly!
We had the opportunity to see Aunt Jen do her presentation as "Billie Ruth" at Savage Cabin while visiting Denali.
We took an 11 hour bus tour to Wonder Lake while visiting Denali. Reagan was such a trooper and the perfect little traveler!

Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen

Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen came down to Anchorage to join us on the Glacier Cruise we took out of Prince Whittier. We were so excited to share Reagan with them and Aunt Jen says she's pretty sure Reagan is the first baby Uncle Andrew has ever held. As you can see he did a great job and is quite the natural! He's such a natural Reagan says she's ready for some little cousins anytime... :)

Cousins George and Leslie

We had a wonderful time visiting Anna's cousin George and his wife Leslie while in Alaska. George and Leslie are such awesome and fun people we just wish they didn't live so far away!

Here we all are in front of their cabin.

Anna and Leslie just having a good time! :)

Our Little Pink Penguin

This was one of the very first baby outfits we picked up (even before I was pregant) because we thought it was so cute. Given that we had a spring baby we didn't think we'd be able to use it this time around. Thank you to Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen for providing us the perfect excuse to use it because we think our little pink penguin is too cute for words!

Besides the pink penguin outfit we also dressed Reagen in this little snow bunny outfit. We wanted to make sure our little Munchkin was warm enough for the glacier cruise. The result is below. She reminded us all a bit of the little brother in "A Christmas Story" who can't move after his mother dressed him. I think it's safe to say Reagan was plenty warm. :)

Poor Miss. Reagan!

These pictures were taken in the process of trying to get a good picture of Reagan with a glacier as the backdrop. We did get some good pictures but in my opinion these are much better because they are so funny. After all, you've seen lots of nice pictures of Reagan posted on this blog so enjoy these pictures of our sweet and extremely tolerant baby experiencing just a bit of wind! lol :)

Great Grandpa and Grandma Gensler

While we were in Michigan we were able to visit our adopted grandparents, Reagan's Great Grandpa and Grandma Gensler in Detroit. We had a wonderful time spending time with them and their family. Thank you to our Tennessee grandparents for showing us such a great time in Michigan! :)

We love Great Aunt Joan's Quilt! :)

Brendan and Reagan thought Great Aunt Joan's quilt and Grandma Sherry were all sorts of fun! We sure wish Great Aunt Joan could have been there to enjoy the fun too! :)

Brendan - What a cute and sweet baby! :)

While we were in Michigan we had the opportunity to spend an evening with Anna's cousin Darin and his wife, Elise, and new baby, Brendan. We throughly enjoyed their company and getting to see their beautiful home.

Great Aunt Jolene and Uncle David

As is clearly evident by the smile on her face Reagan loved all the attention Great Aunt Jolene and Uncle David provided. We enjoyed spending time with them in Michigan and appreciated their hospitality tremendously!

Four LaBar Generations

Great Grandma LaBar was the last great grandma for Reagan to meet. While Reagan was only lucky enough to meet one great grandfather (Grandpa Carlson) she has now met all four of her great grandmothers and we think that is really special. We look forward to many more special memories with all of her great grandmothers!

Great Grandma LaBar

Great Grandma LaBar enjoyed holding and feeding little Miss. Reagan. As you can see Reagan enjoyed it too! :)

How many grandparents...

does it take to put together a baby swing?
~
It apparently takes at least 4 along with a great-grandparent! lol :) It took a little while but I think they finally did get it together. As you can see they had a good time trying in anycase. :)

Great Aunt Faye and Uncle Martin

Great Uncle Martin and Aunt Faye stopped by Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Ted's house while we were visiting in July. We had a great time and really appreciated them making the effort to see our little munchkin! :)
Reagan getting lots of love from Great Aunt Faye and Grandma Sherry!

Great aunts and uncles are so much fun!

I love sitting on my Great Aunt Faye's lap!

Look at the camera everyone...
Or not...
