One Exhausted Baby!

After we came back from our walk today I laid Reagan down in our recliner briefly so I could fold up the stroller. When I came back a few seconds later she was completely zonked out and fast asleep with her blanket pulled up over her head. I guess taking a walk is hard work for a baby too! :)
(I pulled the blanket away from her face)

Haydn's Laugh and Learn Center

Haydn has been particularily entertaining over the last couple of days. Auntie Debbie and Uncle Wayne thought they had given us this playcenter for Reagan but as you can see below according to Haydn they were mistaken... Haydn would like to extend his thanks for such a generous and thoughtful gift. :)

Anybody Need a Drink?

For some reason Haydn took a notion to open and get in our little refrigerator over the weekend. He is one bound and determined cat! The only problem is keeping him out of the refrigerator now that he knows how to open the door.

Where there is a will there is a way...Goofy cat!
Yes, I am one incredibly amazing pussy cat. And don't you forget it!

Cat Shoes

Who says cats can't wear shoes? I dare you to try and stop me!

Two Sleepy Babies

Last week Mendelssohn and Reagan decided to take a nap together on our bed. I thought it was so cute I had to snap some pictures. As you can probably guess from the pictures Mendelssohn has had a bit of a rough time lately. He had surgery to remove a mast cell tumor from his right hind leg last week. Since then he has had to wear the e-collar and have limited movement. Poor kitty!

Boeing

A couple of Fridays ago we visited Tim's old work group at Boeing so they could meet Reagan. We had a great time! Thanks to everyone who came to see Reagan!

The camera is that way Reagan...

Cox Farms

On Saturday, September 22, Reagan, Aunt Arla, and Anna visited Cox Farms to pick out pumpkins, go for a hayride, see lots of farm animals, and have fun! We had a great time but it was a bit hotter than forecasted. Instead of being in the lower 80s it got up to 96. Poor Reagan was a bit overdressed in a long sleeve onesie and corduroy overalls.

Cornshocks

Cornshocks look pretty yummy!

Reagan's First Hayride

Reagan wasn't wild about the hayride to begin with (it was a bit bumpy) but by the end she had calmed down and was enjoying it.
Hay is pretty yummy too!

Watch Me Grow - 5 Months

Reagan is 5 months old and absolutely precious and so much fun!!! :) Her big milestones in just the last week have been putting her pacifier in her mouth on her own, really getting control of the sippy cup, using consonants (ga, ga, ga, and even more fun da, da, da), and sitting up by herself for short spurts (when she's in the mood and not too tired). A big milestone of this month that Mommy is particularily excited about is Reagan's hair is now long enough to wear certain little bows with out a hairband. How much fun! lol :) We're still not rolling, however! :) That's okay though because Dr. Sears says rolling has to do more with a baby's tempermant than motor maturity. That said, since Reagan is so laid back I'm guessing she might not roll anytime soon...
~
We finally made it to Reagan's 4 month doctor appointment last Friday (Sep. 14) and she weighs 15 lbs 7 ozs and is 25 1/4 inches long.
~
Thank you to Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Ted for this super sweet outfit and perfectly matching shoes!

GREAT Aunt Arla

Reagan's great Aunt Arla (also a godmother) came to visit us this week. Reagan has been throughly enjoying the visit and as you can see from the pictures below thinks Aunt Arla is quite entertaining. :)

A Packer Fan in the Making

Reagan loves her cool new Packer gear from Aunt Arla and Uncle Scott!

Cheese

Aunt Arla apparently thought we wouldn't feed her while she was visiting; she brought 13 lbs of cheese in her suitcase.

Mommy and Reagan

This picture is for all of you who think I never get in front of the camera... :)

Hanging out with Miss. Kalina

We visited the National Zoo on Saturday with Miss. Kalina. We had hoped Ms. Alina and Arielle would be able to join us too but they were sick unfortunately. :( It was quite hot and humid while we were at the zoo! We found some shade by the hippos so we stopped to have a drink and try to cool off for a minute before continuing our search for the Giant Pandas.
