Finger Painting

I always loved finger paint growing up. I found an easy recipe for it and so we made it yesterday. All it takes is 2 cups of water and 1/4 cup of corn starch. You bring the mixture to a boil until it seems like the right consistency and then remove to cool. You can make whatever colors you'd like using food coloring. We did the primary colors so Reagan could experiment and mix whatever other colors she wanted from there. We had lots of fun and have plenty of finger paint left over for the future.
Reagan mixing her colors. Next time I think I might give her just two colors at a time so she can really see them change colors vs turning a weird brown/purple. lol :) We learn as we go and at least she had fun mixing it around! :)
Kennedy wasn't really quite sure what we were trying to do her to her and spent more time looking at her fingers and hollering about them than actually "painting" lol :)
