Great Uncle Bill's Family

Well, part of the family anyway... by the time we pulled out the camera the girls had already left so we only got pictures with Aunt Gene and Uncle Bill.

By the time we took this picture Reagan had discovered Aunt Gene's necklace and was absolutely fascinated. We could not get her to let go or look at anything else. lol :)

Great Uncle John's Family

Except we're missing a picture with Uncle John! That's okay we caught him in a group photo later...
~
Reagan thought her cousin Alex was quite entertaining throughout the weekend. He was also her hero because he went to Wal-Mart to get Puffs because Mom and Dad forgot them! Thank goodness Alex and his girlfriend, Carrie, were there to save the day! Silly Cousin Vic!

Family Pictures

Here are a few other family pictures we took while visiting in Illinois

Christmas Comes Early in Illinois

Reagan had the opportunity to open a couple of presents at Grandma Karen's this past weekend. We only got a picture of Reagan opening up her first gift but thank you to everyone for all the gifts and clothing! This is Reagan's new face. She scrunches up her nose and breathes in and out quickly when she thinks something is funny. We have no idea where she learned this from but it tends to give everyone around her a good laugh when she decides to do it. lol :)
What a cool ball! It makes noise, has lights, and moves all on its own!

Sledding

Instead of taking a stroll through our neighborhood this morning we traded in the stroller for a sled Grandma Sherry gave Reagan. It worked great in all the snow we received yesterday! :)
We found a big Frosty someone else made in the park
Sledding is fun!
We even took advantage of a hill in the park for Reagan's first true sled ride. As you can see from the thumbs up Reagan was ready to slide down the hill a few more times. lol :)

Reagan Meets Frosty

We received our first snow of the season today. Unfortunately most of it came later in the afternoon after it was a bit dark for us to take a walk with Reagan. Instead we built a small Frosty the Snowman for her to check out inside after dinner. Reagan thought the snow was interesting and yummy too. :) For the record Daddy did not approve of the taste test...

In Memory of Grammy

4 October 1927 - 30 November 2007
~
This blog is in memory of Tim's paternal grandmother, Alta Lueker. She was better known to most of us as Grammy. She passed away yesterday afternoon from cancer. She was one of the most wonderful people we've ever known. We know she's in a better place but we will miss her terribly! We love you Grammy!

Reagan's First Build-A-Bear

This is so far past due and for that reason will probably be the only post I manage to accomplish from our Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee trip earlier this fall. I may try to get a few random cute pictures up but it's doubtful at this point... I did want to share the fun we had with Grandma Karen and Aunt Julie building Reagan's first Build-A-Bear. Aunt Julie has a favorite bear she takes everwhere. His name is Brown Bear. We made a joke earlier this year about Aunt Julie having to share Brown Bear with Reagan and she said no, that we'd have to get Reagan her own Brown Bear. So Grandma Karen decided we needed to do just that and off we went to build Reagan her very own Brown Bear. Thanks for so much fun Grandma and Aunt Julie!

Watch Me Grow - 7 Months

Reagan turned 7 months old just in time to celebrate her first Thanksgiving. Reagan had her 6 month well baby checkup this week and now weighs 17 lbs 3 ozs and is 26 1/2 inches long.
~
In honor of all the hunters in our family and opening season this week Reagan is wearing her camo outfit from Grandpa Jim. Congratulations to Uncle Jimmy who got an 8 point buck! Reagan was wondering if it is as big as her duck?

Just for Grandpa Jim...

When Uncle Jimmy was just a kid Grandpa Jim convinced him to put a dead squirrel in his mouth. Needless to say Grandma Karen wasn't real happy about it but it didn't keep her from framing a 5x7 of the picture. :) Reagan decided to try out some squirrel today especially for Grandpa in her camo outfit.

Reagan's First Thanksgiving

This Turduckin sure looks good!
There sure is a lot of food, but where are my Puffs?
Yum, yum, yum! Nothing better than a handfull of Puffs!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Our Little Turkey

Reagan tried out her cute turkey hat from Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Ted this morning so we could take a picture to send to all the great-grandparents for Thanksgiving. Thank you for the gift! Thank you also to Aunt Arla and Uncle Scott for the adorable sweater set!
