This Mother's Day I feel so blessed to have two such sweet and healthy little girls. I can not imagine my life without them! They are two of the very best things that have ever happened to me and I love them more than I can say! I have some cute Mother's Day pictures which I will get posted ASAP (I actually need to get most of them from Dad) but I wanted to share one story about how my day ended that I absolutely love. Tonight while I was getting the girls ready for bed I flipped on "The Sound of Music" in our bedroom. While I was getting Kennedy down Reagan flopped on our bed and started to watch the movie. I have always loved this movie and just made a comment to a friend last week that I needed to find someone who loved it as much as me to sit down and watch it with again. Little did I realize that someone could/would be my daugther! Reagan was simply engrossed in the movie. Even though I had a ton of stuff to do this evening I couldn't resist snuggling up with her and watching the movie for a while. It was so sweet and so much fun. I can't explain it exactly, but it was such a special mother/daughter moment for me. I love my girls dearly and I have so many precious memories with them but this somehow felt like our first "mother/daughter" moment and I can see us enjoying this movie and so many other things for years to come. I guess it made me realize my baby is growing up and there are so many things we are going to be able to do together soon (even sooner than I realize). And to that point, time is flying by and I need to make sure to take the time to stop and truly enjoy my precious girls! I hope everyone had a wonderful and memorable Mother's Day! Thank you to all the wonderful mother's in my life and especially Mom who has been going out of her way to spend time with us and help us out in so many ways lately!

You are a WONDERFUL mother to your 2 precious girls - they are the luckiest little girls in the world to have you! And I have been the luckiest mother in the world to have you and Andrew - and now Tim and Jennifer!
You are so amazing at all you do with and for your girls! I wish I could have been there to share your "Sound of Music" evening! Thank you for the wonderful time we did have! Love and miss you lots! xoxoxox Mom/Grammy
Thank you so much for everything you do for us! I don't know how we would make it without you guys! :)I wish you had been here to enjoy "The Sound of Music" with us too! See you soon! :)
OK...now that I have happy tears:) you both are WONDERFUL mothers.see you real soon!!
What a beautiful story! It's amazing what unique ways our children
have. We often remember that Amber
watched the movie about Gandhi at the age of near two...she never made a peep in the theatre. Martin explained parts of it, and it was a very long movie. One of the joys of mothering are the precious moments that come with parenting. And,when your children leave home, those same memories will help sustain you.
You and your daughters, AND Grammy
Sherry are wonderfully blessed to be able to see each other so often!
