Cute Kid Pictures

Here are a few cute pictures I've taken of the girls over the last couple of weeks that for one reason or the other didn't get posted. They are not in any sort of order (not even chronological) just some random pictures I enjoyed taking of my munchkins. :)
~
As I'm sure I've mentioned before Reagan loves to read. Last week when I got out of the shower I found her on the couch with all these books stacked around her. I thought it was so sweet and so Reagan!

Making another selection
This picture is probably about the oldest one on here and I think was taken closer to the beginning of January. Kennedy loves being snuggled up and/or swaddled. For a while Tim was calling her his baby burrito because that's what he thought she looked like all bundled up.
Here Kennedy is enjoying the Superbowl on Sunday. She watched it so intently for quite a while. Then she started rolling and rolled both left and right about 10 times. That's the first time I've seen her roll so many times in a row. We'd put her on her belly and over she would go. Then to top it off right before bed she rolled from her back to her front for the first time. We think Kennedy might be an athlete in the making! :)
This picture is a little older and dates back to Inauguration Day. I don't know if it was because I was watching it or what, but Reagan flopped herself down on the couch and watched a good part of the Inauguration Cermony.
Apparently the Backyardigans and Oscar the Grouch were interested in Obama's Inauguration as well :)
Reagan was a bit under the weather earlier this week. On Monday she wanted to watch "Ice Age" so we all crashed on our bed and had a very loungy day. I went to get something for Reagan and when I came back Mendelssohn had made himself at home with the girls so I couldn't resist taking a few quick pictures. :) At Mendelssohn's last yearly check-up he weighed over 16 lbs. So if you think he looks bigger than Kennedy in these pictures it's not just the angle, he does in fact weigh several pounds more than her. :)

A couple of weeks ago Reagan began talking more and more about the toilet. We're not stressed about her being potty trained at this age but we figured if she was interested we might as well take advantage of that. She has gone back and forth with being interested but has successfully used it three mornings before bath time. Way to go Reagan!

Playdate with the Montantes

Last Friday Liz, Olivia and Audrey came over to our house for a playdate. We haven't seen them since before the holidays and Kennedy was born so it was nice to finally get together again! Thanks for coming! :)
Thursday was Olivia's 3rd birthday so I made cupcakes ahead of time for the girls to decorate and eat after lunch.
Reagan decorating her cupcake (21 mon)
Audrey enjoying her cupcake (18 mon)
Poor Kennedy (2 mon) didn't get to decorate or eat any cupcakes...
The reason Reagan is in a diaper in these next few pics is because we had an explosive diaper that went up her back. When I went and got new clothes for her to wear she didn't want to put them on. Actually if you'll notice in the first couple pictures above, I had the girls in matching pink dresses from Grandpa Pat. Kennedy also had an explosive diaper so they both put on some loungy PJs in preperation for naptime. I guess we'll be cute matching girls another day. :)

I know there are a number of these pictures that are basically the same but they are so sweet I just couldn't choose between them. Olivia got the little girls to hold hands and go back and forth between the rooms. She also had them doing "Ring Around the Rosies." It was absolutely priceless! I've got to figure out how to download video!!!

Reagan is hugging Olivia in this picture and saying "I'm so happy to see you" :)
Sweet Girlfriends

Thank you for the adorable clothes for Kennedy and the babydoll for Reagan! We hope to see you girls again soon!

Fun at Grammy and Pa's

Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen were able to come from California and spent most of the week with us in Cookeville. It was so great to see them and have them meet Kennedy!

Kennedy enjoying her musical elephant from Aunt Jen and Uncle Andrew
Reagan helping Grammy vaccum
One night we enjoyed Grammy and Pa's new firepit by making smores. Aunt Jen found some pink strawberry marshmellows to experiment with. As you can see Reagan preferred eating the raw materials to actually making smores. :)
I think Reagan was actually putting a marshmellow back in this picture
Aunt Jen and Reagan hanging out
Pa made the largest smore any of us had ever seen! :)
After seing Pa's smore Uncle Andrew decided to make one of his own. :)

Kennedy enjoyed the firepit swinging with her seahorse and cuddled in her favorite blanket

There were some leaves on Grammy and Pa's deck that Reagan enjoyed tremendously

This wraps up our December/January trip pictures! Yay! :) Thank you to everyone for everything you did for us and gave us during our travels. We enjoyed spending time with everyone and can't wait until we get to see you all again!

Stiriz and Lueker Kids

The girls and I spent several days with Chaz and Anna at Kelly's house while we were in Tennessee and Grammy and everyone else was in school. Thank you for having us over so much! We had a great time and can't wait to see you again in February!
