Visiting the Hamlin's

Over Labor Day weekend we visited the Hamlin's in Ohio on our way to Michigan. We had a wonderful visit and just wish it could have been longer!!!

Swinging with Lauren (that face is one of excitement not terror)

Molly (aka Boss)

The Hamlin's have a beautiful and super sweet Golden Retriever named Molly. Reagan decided Molly's name was Boss (the name of Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen's Black Lab). Since the weekend Reagan has actually decided all dogs as well as our cats are named Boss. What a goof ball! :)

Watching and waiting for the Dads who are outside in the driveway

Puppies

The Hamlin's neighbors had two puppies Reagan enjoyed. The first thing she did was to run to their side of the gate and pose with/imitate the puppy.
They were a little wild and crazy though so Reagan decided having the gate between them was a better plan.
With some help and encouragement from Lauren and Katie they seemed safe enough to pet.

Fun with Aunt Julie at the Pool

This past week Aunt Julie flew in to visit us and we had a great time. Thanks so much for coming Aunt Julie and we can't wait to see you again! :)
~
Aunt Julie taught Reagan how to sunbathe this week

Reagan has recently started noticing her shadow and I thought this was so cute of her checking it out with her little ponytails there
Reagan must take after Grandma Sherry who loves to lay out in the sun while reading a good book - yes, Reagan is indeed reading (babbling) out loud for everyone to hear and enjoy lol :)

Stop!

I'm sure anyone who has children has had the experience of being amazed at something your child has learned that you had no idea they were even paying attention too. In the last couple of days Reagan has started saying "Stop!" and putting her hand out in front of her whenever she sees a stop sign. We're not sure how or where she learned this but at 15 months she appears to have stops signs figured out. lol :)

The Zoo with Aunt Julie

On Saturday we went to the National Zoo with Aunt Julie and had lots fun! :) Reagan's favorite animals are probably the lions and tigers but she really enjoys watching most of the animals now.

On Friday we went downtown with Aunt Julie. We played out on the National Mall while we were waiting for the Natural History Museum to open.

Here are some silly pictures of Miss Reagan around the house the last couple of weeks.

Uncle Andrew

Before heading to Maine to start hiking south on the Appalachian Trail Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jen stopped in one more time to visit us along with Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Ted the weekend of August 2/3. Here are a few pictures of Uncle Andrew and Reagan enjoying one of her favorite books.

Grandpa Ted, aka Pa, caught some cute Reagan expressions during their last visit a couple of weekends ago.

It's a Girl!!!

After three ultrasounds we now know as well as having a perfectly healthy baby we are also having a little girl!!! We are extremely excited and I love the idea of having two little girls so close in age! :) Tim's excited too except for thinking about having to pay for multiple weddings. lol :) We hope you enjoy these pictures of little Miss Kennedy!
~
One of the pictures they printed out for us was clearer than this one but since this is what they gave us on the CD it was easier and faster to upload to share.
The 3D/4D pictures were so much cooler than we had expected. They were also much clearer and Reagan paid a lot more attention. She kept saying "Baby! Baby! Baby!" We hope she is as excited in November once Kennedy arrives. :)

You can kind of see Kennedy holding onto and sucking on the umbilical cord in this picture
