Miss. Kalina

Kalina is a friend of Anna's from college (she's also Cynthia Kwok's sister who was featured on Reagan's blog a couple of weeks ago). Kalina was nice enough to arrange a playdate in Old Town Alexandria for us and some of her friends from graduate school who have a beautiful baby, Arielle, this weekend. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to walk down by the riverfront. We have busy summers ahead of us but we already have another playdate scheduled for September that we're excited about! :)

Daddy's New Chess Mate

Tim and Reagan discovered a new Saturday morning activity this weekend. It was so cute to watch them play chess together. :)

Playdate with Musa and Harun

We had our first playdate with Reagan's buddies Musa (in red) and Harun (in blue) this week. They are exactly 2 months older than Reagan and moving (rolling) very well. Their rolling wasn't entirely conducive to taking pictures, but that's okay because they sure are cute and fun! :) We hope we can get together again soon! :)

Reagan's Cats

It has taken Igor two months to be brave enough to check Reagan out. I guess his impression wasn't all that great because he hasn't gone near her again since we took this picture. :) Haydn is another story... Tim has decided Haydn thinks of Reagan as a noisy pillow. This is because he tries to sit in our laps even when we're holding her. He sometimes gives up and will sit on our legs or next to us while resting his head on Reagan. Maybe he remembers and is heading Ms. Debbie's instructions of being nice to her. In anycase, he minds Reagan least of all our kitties! :)

I tricked Mendlssohn into this picture by playing with his feathers close to Reagan. He doesn't care for her much more than Igor does. Poor unloved Reagan! At least she has Haydn!

2 Month Pictures

Reagan is two months old today and as sweet and good natured as when she was born! At her two month apointment this week she weighed in at 11lbs 12ozs and 23 inches long. That puts her in the 75th percentile for both weight and height. She is between the 75th and 90th percentile for head circumference. This is especially funny to us because she was in the 25th percentile for head circumference when she was born. Tim says her head is having to grow quickly to keep up with her big brain. lol :) In the last couple of weeks she has started to discover her hands and suck her thumb. She has also started talking to us and is beginning to have more intentional smiles. She is so much fun! :)

Father's Day 2007

As you can see from the pictures below we had a loungy Father's Day. We don't encourage Reagan to watch TV (as a matter of fact we avoid having the TV on when she's awake) but Tim thought these would be funny pictures since we got him a couple of movies for Father's Day which we enjoyed.

Reagan's First Swim

While we were in Tennessee Reagan had her first experience with a swimming pool. As you can see she loved it and was in a great mood! Grandpa Jim gave her the sunglasses, Aunt Arla gave her the swimsuit, and Aunt MaryAnn Danner gave her the baby pool. Thank you to everyone for helping Reagan have so much fun and looking so cute too!

Will and Reagan
Will loves his chocolate ice cream! Actually the amount of ice cream in this picture is our fault. Will ordered a reasonable amount but Reagan told them to make it a large not realizing how huge a large is at Marbleslab. I think it's safe to say we finally ordered enough chocolate ice cream to even satisfy Will Kelly!
